Law Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju Rijiju was campaigning in Tripura ahead of the assembly elections on Thursday.

Law Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju said he is suffering from viral fever and will not campaign in Meghalaya on Wednesday for the assembly elections.

Rijiju was campaigning in Tripura ahead of the assembly elections on Thursday.

He wrote on Twitter, “Suffering from acute viral fever for the last 24 hours… I have been asked to stay indoors and take rest.” The minister said he would miss Wednesday’s public meetings in Meghalaya.

Voting is on February 27 in the state.
