Mental Health Resources: Getting Deeper Thoughts? Help is a call or text away

If you or someone you know is feeling depressed and having thoughts of harming yourself, please know that help is only a call or message away. And no matter how strong a reason you may have for not believing that things can improve, talking to someone will make a difference, we promise. There are many trained people you can talk to and rest assured, they will help you feel better.

Even if it is 3 in the morning and the world is sleeping. If you are having suicidal thoughts, someone in the shelter is awake so that someone in distress can call them and they can help. By visiting imalive.org and hitting the blue ‘Chat Now’ button, you can talk to a trained professional in just one click. If you have any doubts, rest assured that all volunteers in the organization are trained and certified in crisis intervention. So, no matter how serious it is, you can always drop them a text. Please try to use your PC to chat as using the website on the phone can cause the chat connection to suddenly stop.
