The car will have just 275 units and the CLK will be the spiritual successor to the GTR which was launched in the mid-90s as the Le Mans homologation special car. The AMG One is priced at $2.7 million and has already sold out, with recent Mercedes world champion Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg being one of the car’s 275 owners.

Its 1.6 liter turbo hybrid engine is combined with four electric motors for over 1,000 bhp power. It is also Mercedes’ highest-end engine as the V6 can go beyond 11,000 rpm and now the idle speed is 1,200 rpm below 5,000 rpm. It can accelerate to 200 km/h in less than 6 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h.
