Note that these are introductory prices. The new MG Astor is offered in four variants – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp and is the first model from the company to feature AI-based personal assistant and Level 2 autonomous technology with ADAS function. That said, the prices of the new ADAS version are yet to be announced. New mg Astor employs a new concept of Car-as-a-Platform (CAAP) whereby MG plans to offer a range of technology-driven services to its customers using Astor as a platform . And it is offered in India with two petrol engine options – a 1.4-litre, turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol. While the former is exclusively offered with a six-speed automatic transmission, the latter gets either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
