MG Astor SUV unveiled, bookings open on September 19 – Times of India

New Delhi: MG Motor India on Wednesday unveiled its compact SUV ester. It will be on display in MG showrooms from September 19 and bookings will start soon thereafter.
The company calls the Astor India’s first AI-powered car and it also becomes the first car in the segment to offer A-DAS (Advanced Driving Assistant System). Level-2 A-DAS allows 14 functionalities.
The Astor offers segment-leading features such as hill descent control, heated ORVMs, steering modes, 80+ connected commands and a digital key with Bluetooth technology.
The Astor will come in three interior color options – Sangria Red, Iconic Ivory and Tuxedo Black. The driver seat is 6-way electrically adjustable while the interior packs 10.1-inch infotainment and 7-inch driver display.
MG Astor Will be powered by two engine options. The 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and makes 140 horsepower and 220 Nm of peak torque. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is mated to an 8-speed CVT or manual transmission and produces 110 hp and 144 Nm.
With 27 standard safety features like ESP, TCS and HDC, the car ensures a safe driving experience. Its comfort, convenience and safety features include 6 airbags, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, electric parking brake, heated ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, PM 2.5 filter, panoramic sky roof, rear AC vents and front and rear. armrest
