MG Hector: The new 2022 MG Hector will get a Tesla-like 14-inch touchscreen; Launch Soon | – times of India

MG Motor today unveiled the big new infotainment system that will come in the upcoming 2022 MG Hector, Revealing the first teasers of the upcoming SUV, MG Motor India offered a sneak peek of the interior, which will be marked by the largest-in-segment 14″ HD infotainment system. The screen is placed in portrait style, the system in Tesla Similar to the vehicle expected to be launched by the end of this year, the 2022 Hector will also boast of new features and ADAS.
MG Gloster was the first company from the company to offer Level 1 ADAS and MG Astor followed suit. It looks like the 2022 Hector will be the next line to be updated with the same technology.
MG Hector was already a very well equipped car in this segment with a panoramic sunroof, 10.4-inch infotainment display with OTA update, a wireless charger, ventilated seats, Hinglish voice commands and an eSIM for connected features. With the MY2022 upgrade, the Hector will get a larger 14-inch infotainment screen, which is much bigger than the competition, for example the Hyundai Creta which comes with a 10.25-inch screen.

Introduced in India in 2019, MG Hector garnered a lot of attention in the market due to the new technology and features associated with it. The Hector range was further expanded with the addition of Hector Plus which is a three-row SUV.
MG Motor launched the Hector facelift in early 2021 and is now working on another mid-life update for the SUV. The 2022 model has been seen wearing the camouflage twice before. Apart from the upgrades in the cabin, the new Hector is expected to see subtle changes in the exterior, such as minor modifications to the grille.
