MG Motor India achieves 100,000 sales milestone in India – Times of India

MG Motor India today announced that it has crossed the 100,000 sales milestone in India. The British carmaker entered the Indian market in 2019 with Hector Medium sized SUV.
After the same, MG Motor India introduced ZS EV and India’s first autonomous level 1 luxury SUV, the MG Gloster and then the autonomous level 2 SUV, MG ester in the Indian market. Moreover, as per Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA), the brand has ranked second among 4-wheeler mass-market vehicles in dealer satisfaction.

MG Motor India has integrated 37% women employees into its workforce including factories and aims to achieve 50% by December 2023. The company says that it is committed to building an end-to-end EV ecosystem in India by expanding the charging options. Educating consumers on the environmental benefits of EVs.
While the MG Hector actually established the brand in India, the Astor also took the brand forward as it received a huge number of bookings within a few months of its launch. Available at a starting price of Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG Astor comes with features like 3.5-inch color multi-information display, 7-inch fully color LCD screen, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability program, cruise control, PM 2.5-filter and a panoramic sunroof.
