Mi 12: Xiaomi 12 launched on this date, may feature 100W fast charging – Times of India

Xiaomi reportedly gearing up to launch Xiaomi 12 Series Next month (December). Now, a report by Chinese publication MyDrivers suggests that the company will launch xiaomi 12 Smartphones on December 12th. The report further suggests that the phone will be the company’s flagship device and will be powered by the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is expected that Qualcomm will unveil the new chipset at its annual technical summit which is a few days before the tipped launch.
According to previous leaks on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, the smartphone will sport a triple camera setup with ultra-wide angle of view paired with a periscopic and telephoto lens along with a 50MP primary rear camera adapted from Samsung or Sony. On the front, the device is rumored to come with an under-display camera for selfies and video calls. According to previous reports, the smartphone will come with 100W fast charging feature.
Several reports suggest that there could be three phones in the Xiaomi 12 series – xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro And Xiaomi 12 Ultra, According to a report by Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has partnered with camera company Leica for its branding on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The handset is said to come with a curved 2K display and may offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to offer up to 16GB of RAM and could have up to 1TB of onboard storage.
Rumors suggest that the company may introduce Xiaomi 12 Mini under the series. An alleged poster of the device has leaked online. It has a 6.28-inch FHD + AMOLED display and can offer refresh rates of 120Hz and 480Hz touch response.
The handset is rumored to offer 1500 nits peak brightness and may support HDR10+. Xiaomi 12 Mini could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.
