Windows gets another important security update

Microsoft has been busy releasing important updates for PC users over the past few months and once again, it has advised people to update their PCs with the new fixes immediately.

Microsoft has released a new security update that looks to fix a major security flaw in Windows, including older non-supported versions. The security patch for Windows goes back to Windows 7 which suggests that the problem is serious and affects millions of PCs around the world.

According to Microsoft the vulnerability, if exploited could allow an attacker to access your PC’s system privileges, which is a major problem.

The concern is so high that the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has also issued a security note alerting Windows PC users in India. The original release date was September 14 and the severity rating is listed as High by the Security Agency.
