Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 with 11th Generation Core i5 Processor Launched: Price, Specifications

Microsoft this week announced the launch of Surface Laptop Go 2 device in the market. The new affordable Surface Laptop Go model is powered by 11th generation Intel processors, which is a major change from the previous version. Barely any change has been noticed in the form factor and design but the company has made few minute options to make this laptop more capable for the users.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 Price

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 prices start at $599 (roughly Rs. 46,700) for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. When the RAM is increased to 8GB and you still have 128GB of storage, that figure drops to $699 (about Rs 54,200). And going for the higher 8GB + 256GB variant will cost you $799 (approximately Rs. 61,900) in the market. The company has not shared price details for markets such as India just yet.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 Specifications

Microsoft has kept most of the Surface Laptop Go 2 design the same, but it has made some interesting changes. The company is allowing users to replace the keyboard, trackpad, display, battery and SurfLink cable. You can either get it repaired through the Microsoft Repair Center or do it yourself if you know a way around these parts.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 weighs just 1.1 kg but still sports a 12.4-inch PixelSense display that offers 1536×1024 pixel resolution. The Microsoft logo is at the center like other Surface products, and the overall build quality makes it a premium product at a low price.

The device is powered by 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which is further expandable. The Surface Laptop 2 Go comes with a USB Type C port and a regular USB port for connecting external devices. Microsoft still continues to use its standard Surface Connect port to charge this device.
