Mini Mathur’s Egypt getaway is a deliciously gastronomic affair. Here’s the proof

A holiday always seems incomplete without good food. It is true that the food of any city or country reflects its culture and what can be better than filling your stomach with some of the best local delicacies when you are on vacation. Take some inspiration from the journey of TV personality Mini Mathur and her girls who are setting major goals for food lovers. She is currently in Egypt having some delicious food with her friends, actresses Sayani Gupta, Reshmi Kurien and Smriti Kiran. Her latest Instagram reels seems like a gift to all her foodie followers. He ate Egyptian food and left us a little hungry and jealous.

Their delicious meals included classic dishes such as hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, walnut muhammara, kofte, semak, tabbouleh made with fresh parsley, and fatoush salad with baladi bread at Biota in Zamalek by the Nile.

Hummus is a popular Middle Eastern dip or is usually made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic. This is a super-smooth, creamy and delicious recipe that is loved by the people of the Middle East.

Baba Ghanoush also known as Baba Ganoush or Baba Ghanouj has its roots in Lebanon. It is made with mashed cooked eggplant, olive oil, lemon juice, various seasonings and sometimes tahini. It is usually served with tomatoes, onions or other vegetables.

Labneh is a classic food item made from yogurt. It is basically a soft cheese prepared by filtering curd to extract the whey. It has a thick texture and consistency. You might describe it as a Middle Eastern style curd cheese.

Muhammara is a special recipe from the Middle East which is essentially a walnut and roasted red pepper dip that is all kinds of delicious. It is slightly sweet, has a smoky flavor and just the right amount of spice.

Tabbouleh is a simple Mediterranean salad with lots of finely chopped vegetables and parsley. This is a very healthy appetizer and a treat for the taste buds.

Fattoush Salad with Baldi Bread is one Egyptian salad that you cannot miss when you go there. This item has the goodness of vegetables which will surely mesmerize your taste buds.

Mini Mathur is a foodie and she always amazes us with her gastronomic adventures. A few days ago, she showed us how to make a perfect cup of tea. He said that the water should not be boiled too much and that the tea leaves should be soaked for three minutes just before pouring it into the cup. In the video, he also said that Darjeeling tea is always consumed without milk and sugar.

A while back, Mini gave us a sneak peek of Kashmiri delicacies, which instantly made us feel hungry. It was then that he celebrated Eid in the beautiful green valleys of Kashmir. In the post, we saw their delicious kebabs, tambakamaz with white rice, goshtaba and delicious raita.. In the caption, he wrote, “Kashmiri wazwan has been my favorite culinary experience, but sadly there are very few traditional vez (cooks) left in the valley.” Kashmiri Wazwan is not just a simple meal of Kashmir, it is a feast and a ceremony, she explained.
