Minister, officials are providing documents on bitcoin scam, claims DK Shivakumar

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President DK Shivakumar said that ministers and officials of the BJP government have been providing documents related to the alleged multi-crore bitcoin scam and the party will release the documents in due course.

Claiming that the BJP government is suppressing the alleged scam, Mr Shivakumar said that it is the duty of the government to make public the facts and figures of the alleged bitcoin scam. Why is the state government silent on the letter written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the scam?

Referring to the Prime Minister’s suggestion to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai not to worry about the alleged bitcoin scam, Mr Shivakumar said, “It is a public issue. Why should we not raise this issue? Whoever is involved in the scam, be it Congress or BJP leader, should be punished. We are collecting the documents related to the scam and will release them in due course.”

Speaking to media persons after inaugurating the Congress office in Bengaluru’s Padmanabhanagar constituency on November 12, the KPCC president alleged that Chief Minister and Home Minister Araga Gyanendra spoke several times on the issue.

BJP ministers and leaders have asked Congress leaders to produce evidence of the alleged bitcoin scam.
