Rajkot: A case of kidnapping and raping a minor has been registered against a 20-year-old youth at Bhaktinagar police station in Rajkot city on Wednesday.
According to the police, a 40 year old woman filed complaint against Maqsood SandhuA case of kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old daughter, a resident of Vinodnagar in Jangleeshwar area of Rajkot, has come to light. The victim was allegedly abducted on Monday and was released on Wednesday.
The police have detained the accused and booked him under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and initiated investigation.
