Instagram story shared by Mira Kapoor.

Mira Kapoor shared a post – originally posted by a popular page called ‘lilichoinnaturalhealing’ – that focused on Chinese medicine. According to the post, it is better to rest the digestive system at night and eat food during the day. This is in contrast to the Intermittent Fasting (IF) plan, in which most people follow a 16-hour fasting and 8-hour eating plan, skipping breakfast and eating lunch and dinner.

Mira Kapoor reveals how she even tried IF as the diet was trending and many people around her were trying it, but she didn’t like the diet regimen at all. “I have considered trying If many times. Sometimes because there are so many people doing it, sometimes to try something new and shake things up and sometimes just to see what really happens. But I never went for two or three days. It doesn’t sit well with me,” she wrote in her story.

Intermittent fasting (IF) involves fasting for 16 hours and eating only 8 hours.

She believes in eating during the day and relaxing the digestive system at night, as detailed in the post. Thus, Mira Kapoor did not follow the IF diet for a very long time. “I believe in nourishing the digestive fire early in the morning and that nature is more powerful than trend. everyone is different. No one size fits all,” she wrote in the story. “But breakfast fits me like a glove,” she concluded.
