A 21-year-old youth was stabbed to death on Monday night at Ilyas Nagar in Shivamogga town. Channagiri resident Mohammad Musan was in Shivamogga to attend a birthday party. He was attacked by 29-year-old Syed Razak, a resident of Tipu Nagar. Razak is a rowdy chadar and has been accused of being involved in a murder case.
Shivamogga Superintendent of Police GK Mithun Kumar told the media that the victim was out of danger. He is being treated at McGann Hospital.
The reason for the attack is yet to be ascertained. Doddapete police have registered a case.
