Udupi, Karnataka:

Kandulur police have registered a case against unknown people after the body of a renowned dentist from Kasaragod was found on the railway track near Ajjimane village in Kundapura.

According to the information, a case of missing dentist was registered on Tuesday at Badiyadka police station in Kasaragod, Kerala. Dr. Krishnamurthy was a resident of Kerala.

“The doctor was reported missing from his dental clinic at Badiyadka on Tuesday afternoon and Dr Krishnamurthy’s body was found near Udupi railway station on Thursday,” Kundapur police said.

It further alleged that the doctor had misbehaved with a woman who had come to his clinic for consultation.

After this, the family members of the woman reached the clinic and threatened to apologize to the doctor, otherwise they would file a complaint against her.

Subsequently, Badiyadka police in Dakshina Kannada registered a case of sexual assault on the complaint of the woman.

Meanwhile, members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal protested, blaming Muslim leaders for the doctor’s condition.
