Mithilesh Chaturvedi was hospitalized for 10 days and suffered cardiac arrest twice, reveals son-in-law

Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi, who was a part of films, TV shows and OTT series scam 1992, passed away yesterday. The actor was reportedly suffering from a heart ailment, and was said to have breathed his last in Lucknow. Now, his son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi has clarified that he was actually hospitalized in Mumbai for 10 days, and breathed his last there.

Speaking to Navbharat Times, Ashish revealed that Mithilesh Chaturvedi was admitted to the hospital after a cardiac arrest 10 days ago, and yesterday he suffered a second stroke, after which he passed away. “He (Mithjilesh Chaturvedi) was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Hospital for the last 10 days. He had a cardiac arrest 10 days ago, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Today at 4 am (Thursday) he again suffered cardiac arrest and passed away. His body is presently in the hospital and will be discharged around 12 o’clock (Friday morning). We are waiting for some relatives, after which the last rites will be performed.”

Mithilesh Chaturvedi now has two daughters and a son in his family. Earlier today, his Koi Mil Gaya co-star, Hrithik Roshan paid his last tribute. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Thoughts and prayers for Mithilesh Chaturvedi sir, a veteran actor with whom I have had the pleasure of working many times. Will miss you tearing up.” Anees Bazmee had also tweeted about him and wrote, “Really not able to take it! Spoke to him a few days ago and now I see it! Really sad to lose such a gem! It’s a pleasure to work with and spend time with. I shower my life with my family. May your soul rest in peace Mithilesh Bhai.”
