Bhuvneshwar Kumar He has officially taken over as India’s highest wicket-taker in the T20I format after dismissing Cameron Green in the fifth over of the match. He now has 85 wickets from 79 matches while Australia started their innings well in the third T20I in Hyderabad.

In the first T20I against Australia, Bhuvneshwar scored 52 runs in his four overs and failed to pick up a wicket and was not in the squad for the second T20I.
Yuzvendra, on the other hand, dismissed Tim David but it proved to be only a consolation as the Aussies got the better of the Indian spinner. In his 3.2 overs, the Australian batsmen showed no mercy as Chahal scored 42 runs.
It has taken 79 matches for Bhuvneshwar to take 85 wickets including two Fifers and a best of 5/4. Chahal, on the other hand, has the best figures of 25/6 that came against England in Bangalore in 2017. The pair are outside the top 10 T20I wicket-takers of all time and are in the race to become the first Indian to record 100 T20I wickets.
The list also includes Ravichandran Ashwin who is in the running for most wickets before losing his place in the team. Currently, he is at the fourth position with 66 wickets from 56 matches, while Jasprit Bumrah, who recently returned to the Indian team after injury, is at the third position with 69 wickets from 58 matches. Hardik Pandya broke into the top five with 54 wickets in 71 matches and is currently India’s top all-rounder.
