Mother Dairy will increase milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) from tomorrow (Sunday, March 6).

After this, the price of full cream milk will be Rs 59 per liter from Sunday, which was Rs 57 per liter on Saturday.

The price of toned milk will increase to Rs 49, while the price of double toned milk will now be Rs 43 per litre. The price of cow’s milk has been increased from Rs 49 per liter to Rs 51 per litre.

The price of bulk vending milk (token milk) has been increased from Rs 44 per liter to Rs 46.

It has also increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Markets outside these selected areas will be modified in a phased manner.

Mother Dairy Milk is available in over 100 cities across the country.

“The company is experiencing increase in various input costs which have increased manifold,” it said.

The purchase price (amount paid to farmers) alone has increased by about 8-9 per cent since July 2021. Other costs have also increased.
