Following the instructions of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, bulldozers ran on the shops and houses of the accused who attacked the Ram Navami procession in Khargone. Curfew was imposed in the entire Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh after a Ram Navami procession was pelted with stones and some vehicles and houses were torched. The incident happened on Sunday when the devotees were celebrating Ram Navami.
