Another cheetah has died on its way from South Africa to Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh). This cheetah named Uday was found ill in Kuno National Park today, during which he died during treatment. Soundtrack Chauhan, Chief Conservator of Forests, Madhya Pradesh, has confirmed his death. This is the second cheetah death in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park two months after the sighting from South Africa. 6-year-old Uday was one of the 12 cheetahs shown in the country. Earlier, five-year-old Namibian cheetah Sasha had died due to kidney infection last month. He was part of the first batch of staked cheetahs in Kuno National Park and was one of five mama cheetahs that arrived from Namibia last year.

8 were jeeps from Namibia, 12 from South Africa

Eight cheetahs sighted from Namibia were released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Kuno National Park on the occasion of his birthday last year. Whereas, in the second batch of cheetahs from South Africa, seven males and five mother cheetahs came.
