The heat wave is actually continuing in many parts of the country, resulting in water scarcity in early summer. Even as women in rural areas of some districts of Maharashtra have to travel long distances to fetch water, a video has gone viral in which a group of women and men are seen trying to fill water being supplied by tankers. Shown fighting for The video is apparently from MP’s Bhind district, but TOI cannot independently verify the veracity of the claim. The video, however, shows a growing water crisis in some parts of the country.
