Responding to news items published in Hindu On February 5, 2023, “Notice to MS Dhoni Global School”, the management of the institute in Kudlu has stated that they are permitted to run classes up to class 8 with the state board syllabus issued by DDPI, Government of Karnataka and a school education and No Objection Certificate for affiliation to CBSE issued by the Department of Literacy, Government of Karnataka. They have stated that they are also a “CBSE Candidate School” to start Class 9 in 2023-2024.
