Inspector Mughalsarai suffered head injury in the attack while the vehicle of the CO was damaged. Later the police used sticks to disperse the crowd. However, the protesters continued to block the road. Later, SDM Manoj Pathak, who reached the spot, assured all possible financial help to Gupta’s family, after which the villagers withdrew their agitation.
