Mumbai: Security beefed up all around Antiliaindustrialist’s residence Mukesh Ambani, on Monday, after being informed by a taxi driver Mumbai Police That two suspicious persons were inquiring about it.
A senior police officer said, “At around 1 pm, the Mumbai Police Control Room received a call from a taxi driver, who informed the two suspects to inquire about Antilia’s location.”
According to the police officer, the taxi driver told that two persons had come in a wagon R and had stopped near Azad Maidan to ask him about Antilia.

“According to the taxi driver, he asked both of them to find the address in an app. However, the men told him that they did not have the app and left,” the officer said.

The police are talking to the taxi driver to know more details about the two men and are also scanning the footage of all the CCTV cameras so that they can be traced.

The incident happened months later when a car laden with explosives was parked near Antilia. In June, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had arrested several people, including the sacked API. Sachin Vaze in relation to the case.
The car belonged to Mansukh Hiran, a Thane-based businessman, whose body was found in Mumbra Creek.
