On Thursday, on the occasion of Diwali, Mumbai Fire Brigade of Maharashtra received several fire calls. The calls came from Marol, Sahar Road in Andheri and Kurar village in Malad.
Mumbai Fire Brigade said, “Fire engines and water tanks were sent to the spot. There is no information about casualties yet.”
Meanwhile, the Thane Municipal Corporation said that a total of 12 fires were reported in Thane city on Thursday evening. “The situation is under control. No injuries have been reported so far,” he said.
