Thane: A 55-year-old Kurla police constable was thrashed to death by his wife and daughter with a stone mill over a family dispute in Kalyan (E) on Thursday. Constable Prakash Borse lives with his wife Jyoti Borse and daughter Bhagyashree Borse at Hirapanna Apartments.
The incident took place when the deceased reached home from duty. There was tension in the family over the daughter’s ashes as she was living with her parents due to issues with her husband, an official said. “The deceased was angry and wanted her daughter to stay with her husband. They clashed and the mother-daughter duo picked up a stone mill and attacked the deceased,” the officer said.
