Mumbaikars will face a tough time today as Mumbai suburban services, the lifeline of the city, will be handled by the Central Railway and Western Railway zones of the Indian Railways for a total period of five hours as it will perform maintenance work in various areas. main line
Matunga-Mulund Up and Down fast line from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm
Dn fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.25 a.m. to 3.44 p.m. will be diverted to Dn slow line at Matunga, stopping at stations between Matunga and Mulund as per their respective halts. Fast trains from Thane onwards will be re-diverted on Dn fast line at Mulund and will reach destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Up fast services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.26 pm will be diverted to Up slow line at Mulund, stopping at stations between Mulund and Matunga as per their respective halts. Further, these Up fast services will be redirected to Up fast line at Matunga and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra Down Harbor line from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm and Chunabhatti / Bandra – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up Harbor line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Dn Harbor line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus for Vashi/Belapur/Panvel and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Bandra/Goregaon from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm suspended Will stay
Up Harbor line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbor line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Goregaon/Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm will be suspended.
However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No. 8) during the block period.
Harbor line passengers are allowed to travel on Main Line and Western Railway during the block period from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
Meanwhile, a five-hour jumbo block will be taken on the UP and DN fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations for maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, Western Railway said in a statement.
Suburban services will be operated on slow line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations during the block period. Some suburban trains will remain canceled during the block.
