Mumbai man cut 550 cakes on his birthday – watch viral video

Birthdays are always special and there is no denying that. What makes it even more memorable is a delicious cake. Cake cutting ceremony plays an important role in every birthday celebration. Although it has no Indian origin, blowing candles and cutting cakes is now an integral part of Indian culture. Nowadays, we often see people celebrating birthdays with cakes that define the extraordinary. We recently got one such news of a Mumbai man who drowned in water with his birthday cake. Surya Raturi celebrated his birthday by cutting 550 cakes. Yes, you read that right!

A video of around 2.5 minutes went viral on the internet in which Surya Raturi can be seen cutting a cake with knives in both hands. The cakes were placed on three tables in a row. Each of these cakes was of a different shape and taste. We could also see people clicking pictures, cheering and bursting party poppers when Surya Raturi went on a cake cutting spree. This isn’t the first time that the unique (or quirky) cake-cutting ritual has gone viral. Earlier, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth made headlines by cutting a cake with a sword during a ceremony. In the month of June, the Queen, along with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the ‘Big Lunch’ in Cornwall, which was held alongside the G7 summit in the United Kingdom . In a video that went viral across the internet, the 95-year-old Samrat was seen taking a kirpan from a watchman present at the event. Then she went to the cake and, with a little help from Camilla, cut the cake.
