A 24-year-old man was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai’s western suburb of Bandra, police said on February 22.

It is believed that he had taken this step after the loss in the stock market. The incident took place on the morning of February 21 at Sai Dham Society in Bandra (East), an official said.

The victim’s brother, who was sleeping in the same room, later informed the police about the incident.

He said the local police were immediately informed and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead before admission.
