On the occasion of Halloween, the police department has revamped it with a creative campaign to raise awareness about “real-life jumpers.”

Mumbai Police shared a video on Instagram to raise awareness about common mistakes people can be made to sensitize about cybercrime and how to be aware of it. According to the short video, some silly mistakes, like having weak passwords, sharing one-time passwords (OTPs) with random people, receiving calls from unknown numbers, and circulating fake news on social media platforms are some of the jumpscares.

The video has a spooky effect with pumpkins in the background, giving it a lively view of the festival being celebrated across the world today.

The video was posted 10 hours ago and has since garnered over 23,000 views and over 2,000 likes. One user lauded the creativity of the police department saying, “Always come up with creativity + message.” A second added, “Excellent work!!!”

A few months back, Mumbai Police shared a hilarious viral video of two elderly passengers fighting for a seat in a bus. The short clip became a hit online and even became meme material. Mumbai Police said in the caption of the video, “There is ‘no room’ for a third person on a two-wheeler!”

In the video, two men are sitting right next to each other, arguing over who is taking up more space on the bus seat. In the clip, one says, “Bahu space hai (There is a lot of space)”, and the other counters her with “Nahi jag hai (There is no space)”.
