Celebrating outstanding growth and contribution to the education sector of the country, the Times Education Icon 2021 Awards were presented to academicians across Mumbai. Selected from a city-wide survey, the winners received their prizes at an event organized by Optimal Media Solutions (a division of Times Internet Limited).
The event was attended by some respected academicians and celebrities, including actors Suniel Shetty, Kiara Advani and Nushrat Bharucha. Host Sachin V Kumbhar started the event with some funny jokes and enthralled the audience with his antics.
The awards are based on surveys conducted among schools across Mumbai as well as top business schools, engineering colleges, fashion design institutes, architecture and hotel management. Independent Agencies for Times School Survey 2021, Times Engineering Survey 2021 and Times Top Education Institutes Survey 2021 and Market Excel Data Matrix Pvt Ltd Avance Insights Pvt Ltd (earlier Evans Field & Brand Solutions LLP). Times B-School Survey for 2021 Ltd., conducts the survey and the award winners are selected based on the results.
