Rang Shankaracharya presents Bhajan Sandhya by Sharda Gurukul on 28 May at 5.30 PM. It is a part of RS Connect, where Vishwanath HV Ramakrishna of Sharda Gurukul will present Bhajan Sandhya, an eclectic performance of Hindi, Bengali and Kannada hymns of the Math heritage.
The evening will include compositions by Mirabai, traditional, slow-paced Bengali songs on Maa Shyama/Durga, Hindustani-based Kannada hymns and some compositions by Rabindranath Tagore. Admission is free.
As part of RS Connect, Ranga Shankara Heritage in association with Beku will conduct a session on restoration of vintage cars. TR Raghunandan, a car enthusiast who has spent decades restoring and re-modeling a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster that belonged to Svetoslav Roerich and Devika Rani among many others, will share about one of his restorations , and will reflect on the thrills and spills. of restoration and how it binds people around the world.
