Muslim family performs music in temples of Kaupi amid ban on non-Hindu traders

Mr. Jalil and Mr. Akbar Kaup live in a joint family in a modest house at Padu near the beach, which is surrounded by Naga Banas (the abode of the serpent god) and Divine Location: (the abode of souls). Mr Jalil declined to comment on the recent clashes between people of different religions in the coastal districts. Whatever is happening is unfortunate as both the communities have lived in perfect harmony for centuries. He said that only mutual respect will bring harmony.
