The daily soap queen released a series of videos in which she can be seen enjoying the Naagin 6 premiere. The scenes from the show shared by Ekta featured actor Manit Joura. The scene presents Manit assuring the pundits that best serpent Will return to take revenge but this time it will not be about him but for the country. Meanwhile, Season 6 of Naagin stars Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejaswi Prakash in the lead role along with Simmba Nagpal. The casting of Tejashwi as the lead actor was announced in the finale of Bigg Boss 15, where it was also revealed that his character’s name would be ‘Pratha’. Naagin 6 also stars Mehak Chahal, Amrapali Gupta, Sudha Chandran and Urvashi Dholakia in pivotal roles. The plot of the show is based on the pandemic and how a shape-shifting serpent is born to save the country from the virus.
While the show is yet to go on air, sections of social media have criticized Naagin 6, accusing it of insensitive use of the COVID-19 pandemic. Reacting to such criticism, Ekta said that she knew that she would be trolled for the conspiracy. “I was up for it.
