Helmed by Sooryav, the yet-to-be-titled film is touted to be an emotional family drama.
The actors began shooting on Tuesday morning in Hyderabad with the ‘muhurta’ shot.
Mrunal has been shuffling between Hyderabad and Mumbai as she is busy prepping for the film, with workshops as part of character preparation.
Talking about the same, Mrunal said, “I am definitely excited and excited to be a part of this project. It’s a really heartwarming story and the team backing the project is extremely talented. I am looking forward to working with Nani. It’s an interesting curve considering I watched the Jersey remake last year, which originally starred Nani.
Apart from Telugu dramas, Mrunal also has war drama ‘Pippa’ opposite Ishaan Khatter in her kitty. At the same time, Nani will also be seen in ‘Dussehra’. It will release globally in theaters on March 30 this year.
