Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik Recently, there has been a scathing attack on Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for her statement of ‘Khalistanis’. Referring to the FIR lodged against Kangana, Malik reminded the actress that “no one is above the law”. While talking to a news agency, Malik slammed Kangana for her remarks and said, ‘The Sikh community has filed an FIR against Kangana Ranaut, which is very relevant as she has a habit of insulting great leaders. No one is above the law, the protection given to them by the Center cannot help anyone. On Tuesday, the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee filed an FIR against Kangana accusing the actor of “making derogatory remarks against her community”. DGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa posted pictures of the FIR on his Twitter handle and wrote, “The day is not far when she will be behind bars for abusing freedom of expression.” Reacting to the FIR, Kangana shared a picture on her Instagram stories with a note, ‘Another day, another FIR. Just in case they come to arrest me. My mood at home.’ Kangana is known to be extremely vocal on her social media handle and her reaction after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the repeal of three controversial agriculture laws has drawn criticism from all corners. Kangana had posted an image-text on her Instagram stories in which she wrote, ‘Khalistani terrorists can turn the government today … Crushed like… but did not let the country break into pieces.’ This is not the first time Malik has criticized Kangana, earlier reacting to her ‘India got real independence in 2014’ remark, with the NCP leader demanding the return of her Padma Shri. Malik also said that it seems Kangana is ‘on a heavy dose of Malana cream’.
