NCB SIT officials summoned Aryan Khan; Dropped inquiry on Sunday citing ‘health reasons’ – Times of India

Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Narcotic Control Bureau Who took over the investigation of drugs case, summoned Aryan Khanson of bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.

Newly constituted SIT headed by NCB Deputy Director General, Sanjay Singh Aryan arrived in Mumbai on Saturday to begin his investigation in six drug cases, including the infamous one.

The SIT team summoned the star kid on Saturday and called them for questioning on Sunday. This is in line with his bail order which states that Aryan Was to be available for questioning when called by the NCB officials.

Sources revealed in a statement to ETimes, “Aryan Khan cannot appear in the NCB office today due to health reasons. Those in the know have revealed that Aryan may appear before the SIT tomorrow for further questioning and investigation. ”

Reports said that co-accused Arbaaz Merchant may also be called to record his statement.

Keeping his bail agreement in mind, Aryan was seen arriving at the NCB’s office on Friday to mark his presence.

The team is also expected to record the statement of the Maharashtra minister. Nawab Malikson-in-law of Sameer Khan Who was arrested by the NCB in January this year and was recently released on bail.

The report further said that the SIT has started recording the statements of the people involved in the 6 cases.

The NCB issued a statement on Friday announcing that the SIT has taken up matters of national and international ramifications to conduct a thorough investigation to unearth the back and forth links.

The statement also said that no officer or officers have been removed from their current roles and until a specific order to the contrary is issued, they will continue to assist the Operations Branch in investigations as required.

It is reiterated that NCB functions as a unified agency across India. Wankhede, however, denied that he had been dropped from the case and said, “I have not been dropped from the investigation. It was my writ petition in the court that the matter be probed by a central agency. Hence, Aryan Khan Case And Delhi Special Investigation Team is investigating the Sameer Khan case. This is a coordination between the NCB teams of Delhi and Mumbai.”
