Actor and Nationalist Congress Party MP Dr. Amol Kolhe He has apologized for playing the role of Nathu Ram Godse in the film ‘Why I Killed Gandhi’. After facing criticism for playing Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin in the film, Dr Amol Kolhe said he does not support Godse’s ideology and apologized if his role hurt the sentiments of Gandhiji’s followers. Talking to reporters after paying tribute Mahatma Gandhi At his memorial near Pune, Kolhe said, “The film was shot in 2017. If Bhumika has conveyed only one side – Godse – and has hurt the sentiments of many who follow Gandhiji, I really want to apologize to him. those who have been hurt. I never supported Godse’s ideology and will not support it in future also. Sometime back, while talking about Kolhe’s role in the said film, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said that it is up to Kolhe to decide what role he wants to play as an actor.
