Swami Vivekananda’s address at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 drew the attention of the world to the ancient Indian philosophy of Vedanta. Justice Ramana further observed that today resources are available at everyone’s fingertips and there is unlimited access to the world of information. “These advantages come with a heavy burden. The hyper-awareness that modern society allows, coupled with the ease of flow of information, mandates that students become more socially and politically aware.”

Justice Ramana also advised the youth to take care of their health and indulge in physical activities and sports.

“Visit the slums to be aware of the divide that exists even in urban areas, visit the villages to be aware of rural life.
