Neena Gupta gave a unique twist to this Indian vegetable, can you guess?

Are you fed up with the thought of having ‘gourd’ in your next meal? Many people avoid eating this vegetable because they think it is boring and tasteless, and not many dishes can be made from it. Well, don’t worry; We are here to give you a taste of this harmless and nutritious vegetable! You must have heard about brinjal ka bharta, aloo ka bharta, but have you ever heard of gourd ka bharta? Veteran actress Neena Gupta is showing us the way. She is back with her kitchen diary after suffering from viral fever. In a video that she posted on Instagram, we can see her cooking Lauki Ka Bharta, which can be made in just 15 minutes.

The actress can be seen playing the role of Manju Devi, wife of Panchayat Pradhan in the web series Panchayat Season 2. He wrote in the caption, “Pradhan ji’s favorite gourd #PanchayatOnPrime.” In the video, we can see him first cutting the gourd into two halves and then piercing it with the help of a fork. She then heats both the pieces slowly on the gas stove till they turn black after roasting. After this, scrape the bottle gourd, cut it into small pieces and mix it together in a blender. to keep track:

Soon, we see him mixing garlic and onions in mustard oil, followed by a mixture of tomatoes, onions and mixed gourds. She gives one final mix to all of them and says that Lauki ka Bharta is ready now!

Well, this is not the first time that the actress has told us a unique and easy recipe. She is a big time foodie and loves to cook the dishes herself. She often shares videos of her cooking from her kitchen diary on Instagram. In a video she posted earlier, she showed us how to make healthy misal with chickpeas, moong and matki sprouts.
