Neeraj Chopra created history after winning a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw final at the prestigious World Athletics Championships in Eugene. Many Bollywood celebrities are involved Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kangana RanautMadhur Bhandarkar, Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar shared congratulatory messages for her on their social media handles.

At the World Championships in Athletics in Eugene, Neeraj clocked 88.13 meters in his fourth attempt and finished second in the men’s javelin throw final.

Neeraj also became India’s first track and field athlete to win a silver medal at the World Championships, and the second to achieve a podium finish at the 2003 Paris Worlds after legendary long jumper Anju Bobby George finished third.
