NEET 2022 Application Form at neet.nta.nic.in: Check eligibility, exam pattern, how to apply

NEET 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) The application process for NEET 2022 has started. The application process which started from April 6 will continue till May 6. Candidates seeking admission in medical and allied fields can apply at neet.nta.nic.in. The medical entrance exam will be held on July 17. Students will get 3 hours 20 minutes to give the exam. While the duration of the exam has been extended, there will be negative marking in NEET as well.

NEET 2022 will have 200 multiple choice questions; There are four options with one correct answer each. The exam will be divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each subject will have 50 questions divided into two sections (A and B). The duration of the exam will be 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes). The exam will be held from 2 PM to 05:20 PM. One mark will be deducted in both the sessions for wrong answer as per the revised marking scheme.

NEET will be conducted in 13 languages ​​including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The exam will be conducted in 543 cities in India and 14 overseas centers will be set up to conduct the medical entrance exam.

NEET 2022: Phase II verification, no editing window yet

As of now, the correction facility has not been given to the NEET aspirants. This year, students were not allowed to make changes in their JEE Main application form. Application form edit window for NEET may be allowed. However, the schedule has not been updated yet and is likely to be released soon. Further, when candidates register, they have to enter the OTP received on their registered mobile number, and before depositing the fee, they have to enter the OTP received on their registered e-mail address. This Phase II registration is new for NEET aspirants.

NEET 2022: Eligibility Criteria

the nationality: Not only Indian citizens but also Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and foreign nationals can all apply for NEET.

Age Range: The minimum age to be able to apply for NEET is 17 years. There is no upper age limit and candidates. This is the first time that the upper age limit to apply for medical entrance exam has been removed. This is expected to increase the number of candidates appearing for medical admission. Whereas the students who could not clear NEET in the first time last year will get a chance to appear in the exam. For new applicants, competition is expected to increase.

Education: Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. Candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible.

NEET 2022: Passing Marks

The minimum marks required to pass medical admission is 50 percentile for a candidate belonging to unreserved category, 45 percent for PWD category and 40 percent for SC/ST/OBC.

NEET 2022: How to Apply

The application process for NEET 2022 is completely online in which applicants have to visit the official website of NEET 2022, And complete the application process –

Step 1: Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on Registration, Select New Registration and fill the details

Step 3: Register using application number and personal details like name, contact details, password etc to generate password

Step 4: Once the credentials are generated, log in and fill the application form with personal and educational details, exam center preference and required documents.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee in Online Mode Through Credit/ Debit Card, Net Banking, Paytm & UPI.
