NEET counseling round 1: MCC asks foreign candidates to submit documents by January 2

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has finally released the notice for the counseling process for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses. In the latest notice, MCC has asked all foreign candidates to “send their relevant documents” in support of their claim of changing nationality from Indian to NRI through email ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com. The application submission window started from December 30 at 10 am and will end by January 2. “Mails received before / after the stipulated time will not be considered. Candidates are advised to send all the documents enclosed in one mail only within the stipulated time.” MCC said in its latest notice.

NEET counseling for All India Quota is conducted by MCC. To apply for counselling, candidates need to register at mcc.nic.in. While state-wise counseling has started for admission to medical courses, the central counseling is yet to begin. MCC had earlier indicated that counseling would begin in January after the Supreme Court takes a final call on EWS quota. As reported earlier by News18.com, the government-constituted committee has finalized a report which will be submitted to the Supreme Court within a week.
