NEET PG Counseling 2021 Result Today, Candidates Selected for Reporting in Hybrid Mode

NEET PG counseling round 1 result will be declared today by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). For the first time for the current batch of NEET PG candidates, MCC has decided to conduct document verification in hybrid mode. This provision has been introduced in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 across the country.

Medical candidates seeking admission to MD and MS seats to be selected usually have to physically report to medical colleges to verify their documents, this time students can report to colleges in hybrid mode.

The committee in its announcement said that the candidates who have been allotted seats in NEET PG counseling 2021 can report at the allotted college in either online or offline mode.

“Candidates who are opting for online reporting can join the allotted college

Sending a confirmation email regarding acceptance of seat and uploading the scanned copies of relevant documents as mentioned in the information bulletin. Hence the documents verification of such candidates will be done by the college through scanned copies. However, please note that candidates who wish to upgradation to Round-2 while retaining Round-1 seat will have to ‘Physically Report’ at the allotted institute to confirm their admission,” issued by MCC stated in the notification.

It states that, “All admissions made online will be treated as provisional, and final only on verification of documents at the time of physical joining and medical fitness in the college.”

To check whether they have made it to the merit list or not, candidates need to visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in. The MCC website had crashed at the time of registration for the counseling process and many students had to wait for hours. To ensure a smooth process, candidates can keep their registration number handy.

The committee has asked all college authorities to generate “admissions”

For candidates reporting online send one copy of online letter and admit card through intra-MCC portal and one copy to MCC at email id: pgmcconlinereporting@gmail.com.
