NEET PG counseling 2021 will start from January 12

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) Counseling 2021 will start from January 12, Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has announced. This comes after the Supreme Court allowed the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) to go ahead with the counseling process for medical college PG seats. Students who have qualified NEET PG will be eligible to register themselves once the application link is activated on the MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

“The NEET-PG counseling is being started by the MCC from January 12, 2022, as assured by the Ministry of Health to the resident doctors, following the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. This will give more strength to the country in the fight against Corona. My best wishes to all the candidates,” tweeted Mandaviya.

Many NEET PG aspirants say that the counseling process is still getting delayed. Resident doctors are holding protests across the country to speed up the entire process. Delay This happened after the Supreme Court expressed doubts On the decision of the Central Government to set Rs.8 lakh as annual income limit for availing EWS quota.

Commenting on Mandaviya’s post, the candidates have said that the counseling process is still delayed as the entire process will take around two months to complete and by then many doctors may get infected with COVID-19.

“Still getting delayed..It takes around 2 months to complete the counseling…by then covid may infect many doctors..after all it is the defeat of the health care system. I have to say sir..this time your government ruined it..!!” wrote one user. (sic)
