NEET PG result declared in record 10 days: Steps to check score, know cut-off, top colleges

National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBE) declared the result for NEET PG – Postgraduate Medical Entrance Test within a record time of 10 days of conducting the exam. After months of demanding postponement, the medical entrance exam was conducted on May 21. Most of the candidates who took the exam said the exam was easy.

Medical candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official websites nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. To pass the exam, candidates need at least 50th percentile score. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, the minimum marks required to pass is 40th percentile as per rule.

Percentile score is relative marking and varies from year to year. This year, the minimum marks required for the unreserved category has increased from 265 marks in 2021 to 275. Those who obtain marks equal to or more than the cut-off will be eligible to appear for counselling. The counseling schedule will be released soon.

Congratulating the candidates, Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya said, “I congratulate all the students who have done brilliantly for NEET-PG. I commend NBEMS for their commendable job of declaring the result in a record 10 days, which is much ahead of the stipulated time.

NEET PG 2022: Cut-Off

This year, as per the official notice released by NBE, the cut-off score out of 800 for unreserved category is 275, for SC, ST and OBC candidates 245 and for PWD 260 marks.

NEET PG 2022 was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. There were a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the paper. For every correct answer, candidates will get four marks each. One mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt. No marks will be deducted for any question without attempt.
