The much awaited registration for CUET (UG) 2022 also started from Wednesday. Inviting online applications for admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities for the academic year 2022-23, the NTA in its notification stated that “CUET (UG) 2022 will provide a Single Window Opportunity to the students seeking admission in Central Universities (CU). across the country for various undergraduate programs.”
According to a senior NTA official, the agency is mapping all the participating universities and all the programs and their eligibility conditions will also be available on the NTA website. “While candidates can also visit the websites and read the information bulletins of individual universities, NTA has also listed the participating universities and their eligibility conditions for each programme. Hence candidates registering online can view these universities, their programs and eligibility which they need to satisfy and choose the required section/language/domain subjects/others to appear in CUET,” the official said.

While the notification does not mention the specific dates for CUET, it is stated that the tests will be conducted in the first or second week of July 2022 and the exam will be conducted in two slots – Slot I which is of three hours and 15 minutes. and Slot II of three hours and 45 minutes. According to NTA sources, a candidate will appear in only one slot on a day and subsequent slots on another day.
