New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi Unveiled the holograms on Sunday Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose India GateTo put the great hero of freedom struggle on the same pedestal as Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and Ambedkar.
Emphasizing that Netaji’s hologram will soon be replaced by a cast of stone, the PM said that the installation of a “huge statue” National War Museum At and near India Gate Parliament A “Grateful Nation Pays Tribute To The Hero Of Freedom And Will Remind Our Institutions And Coming Generations A Lesson Of National Duty”.
Modi said that Netaji did not get the respect he deserved. PM Modi said, ‘It is unfortunate that after independence, along with the traditions of the country, efforts were made to erase the contributions of many great personalities.
“The freedom struggle involved the penance of lakhs, but attempts were made to downplay their contribution. But today the country is boldly correcting those mistakes,” the PM said, referring to measures like hoisting Indian National Army Flag, participation of INA contingent in the 2018 Republic Day Parade, publicization of files and measures to celebrate INA inside Red Fort.
