2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Design
Based on Suzuki’s Global-C platform, the Grand Vitara will be sold through Maruti Suzuki’s premium Nexa dealership chain. Even though the Maruti Suzuki SUV has a lot in common with Toyota’s Urban Cruiser hider, the Grand Vitara’s design is unique. The “NEXwave” grille up front is given by split LED headlamps. At the rear, the SUV gets attractive looking LED taillights that run across the width of the tailgate.

While the former makes 103 PS power and 137 Nm, and is claimed to have an efficiency of 21.11 kmpl, the latter churns out maximum power and torque outputs of 116 PS and 122 Nm, respectively, and is claimed to make its own Boasts best in class fuel efficiency. 27.97 kmpl
The 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology can be had with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed AT with paddle shifters. The 5MT variant also gets Suzuki’s ALLGRIP all-wheel drive configuration with Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock drive modes. On the other hand, the strong-hybrid (intelligent electric hybrid) variant can only be had with an e-CVT that powers the front wheels. Drive modes on offer include EV, Eco, Power and Normal, along with the robust-hybrid variant.

On the inside, the SUV gets SmartPlay Pro+ 9-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, Suzuki Connect with 40+ connected features, fully digital instrument cluster, heads-up display, 360 Degree cameras, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The safety suite of Grand Vitara includes 6 airbags, electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, hill descent control, tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD and rear disc brake.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Expected Price
